I wasn't unreasonable in my expectations given the price of this ring,and it's a nice style with just the right amount of silver, but the stone is another thing, it's very very badly scratched and cracked. given that it's flat so not a faceted stone it doesn't amount to much by carat weight so could afford to be better than this. I will be surprised if it stays in the mount given the cracks and that's a shame because it really is a nice style ring that sits nicely on the hand and is easy to wear I have bought before with no problem from this vendor so I'm more than a little disappointed by this. I'm also unconvinced that this is emerald and not green beryl but as no expert I could be wrong.If I didn't have an issue with the cutting of the stone I could honestly say I would love this regardless of what it is.UPDATEThis is sold as an untreated stone yet the dye has coloured my finger
