Easy to bend, easy at getting hung but so freaking cute!!! Not for everyday wearI have recently become a lady bug fan. They are pretty and the old wive's tail is that they bring good luck. While I do not believe in superstitions, I still find it good to have a positive outlook and think good things. I saw this ring and I could not resist. I love the hanging piece rings. It just adds a touch of uniqueness to them.This ring shipped inside of a small ziplock bag which was inside of a nice gift box which was inside a larger ziploc bag. The gift box has a cream color top and red ribbon and a red colored bottom. The box has a snake skin pattern on it. The velvety covered foam inside of the box has a ring cut out and 2 earring cut out. If you plan to give this as a gift you will need to open it up and place the ring in the foam for a nice presentation.The ring 925 Sterling Silver. The inside is stamped with a figure I cannot make out and the numbers, 8925. It is not a complete circle so it can be stretch to fit an array of finger sizes except really big and really small. Even at a size 9 ring finger I do not loose the look of the ring if I wore it on that finger. It fits my pinky nicely but I prefer to wear it like a knuckle ring. The ring being adjustable allows me to tighten it down a bit on that portion of my finger so it does not fall off.In the leave, it has green stones and the sterling silver prongs give it that dotted effect. The large leaf has openings between the veins. The lady bug is also silver and the red is painted on. The face of the lady bug has 3 small rhinestones on a black background that gives the eyes a sparkling effect. There is a small ring protruding off the ring and a small ring protruding off the lady bag that fit into one another. The rings are full enclosed so there wont be any accidental loosenings of jump rings.This ring is lightweight and really comfortable to wear. I tend to forget I am wearing it, even with the dangling lady bug flapping around.It's really a cute ring and recommended for anyone who likes ladybugs except younger children who may be inclined to stretch it too far apart or squeeze it too close together. This can cause stress on the ring and cause it to break or loose it's shape. I would love to see more rings like this with different animal themes such as flowers and a butterfly, lily pods and a frog, bones and a dog head, yarn and a cat's head, and whatever else will work.Very cute, it is adjustable and fits perfectly. Love it! :)The photo does not do this justice. The ring looks much more "expensive" in person than in the picture. The pearl is pretty and creamy, the silver is shiny and not cheap looking, and the little blue tail texture is beautifully executed. I love how the design is "free size". I gave it to a woman who had a larger finger and it was not difficult to stretch it to fit. But strong enough to stay in place.By the way, the woman I gave it to is in the hospital after just losing her leg to an amputation. I told her the ring is like the story of Jonah and the Whale. He was in the belly of the whale, in suffering in darkness, but eventually he was spit out onto the shore to a new life. I told her this ringrepresents that transformation in process. She "bought it" and gave me a smile. The ring is pretty, unusual and lovely.Great ring! Doesn’t turn my finger green- but it does get caught on my hair when I run my hands through it. Other than that it’s great!Please pardon the fact that I desperately need to get my nails filled. But I couldn’t resist reviewing this ring as soon as I got it!!! I’m in love! This ring is beautiful.
